What Tomoe stores (on your device only)

Tomoe saves a small amount of information locally so the app can remember your preferences between sessions:

• The text of the task you chose to focus on.
• Your selected duration and animation preference.
• A history of your completed focus sessions — the task name, duration, chosen animation, and the time it ended.

All of the above is stored on the device using the operating system's secure on-disk key/value storage (MMKV). It never leaves your phone, is not backed up to any server we operate, and is removed when you uninstall the app.

What Tomoe does not do

• No accounts. There is no sign-up, sign-in, or registration.
• No servers. Tomoe never makes network requests.
• No analytics or telemetry. No usage tracking, crash reporting, or third-party analytics SDKs.
• No advertising. No ad SDKs, no ad tracking, no third-party trackers.
• No sensitive permissions. Tomoe does not request access to your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera.

System integration

To help you start a quieter session, Tomoe can open the system Settings app to the Do Not Disturb / Focus screen. Tomoe only opens that screen — it cannot read or change any settings on your behalf.

Children's privacy

Because Tomoe collects no information about anyone, it is suitable for users of any age, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If anything in this policy changes, we will update the effective date above. Because the app collects nothing, material changes are unlikely.
